Need some new music recommendationa

Anyone recommend me some new music to get into? Need to find some new stuff.
Some of my favourite contemporary bands include The National, Future Islands, Wolf Alice, Cigarettes After Sex, The War on Drugs.... So indie/alternative rock, dream pop, that kind of stuff. But pretty open to different genres.

Not sure they’re still making music but give Clear Plastic Masks a listen. A bit Southern fried garage rockish.

Deerhunter is a good call, although my favourite song of theirs is Desire Lines. Somehow dreamy and New Wave sounding at the same time.

Beach House, The Antlers and Wild Nothing all good Dream Pop, the first 2 are 2 of my favorite bands. Nocturne by Wild Nothing is great but i'm not too fussed on the other 2.
Swimming Tapes (Cameos) and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever (The French Press) both worth a look.
I've been enjoying Timber Timbre, Protomartyr, Ought new Hookworms, Wolf Parade, Grizzly Bear and Preoccupations (formerly Viet Cong) recently too. All indie rock type stuff.
If you prefer less rocky and more indie Ultimate Painting and Mutual Benefit worth a look, 'Sanction Blue' and 'Not for Nothing' good places to start respectively.

Wolf Alice are probably the most overrated band around right now. Shockingly bad 90s pastiche. They sound like a school band.

I must be getting old. I don't have any contemporary suggestions!
Try the album "Bad Orb Whirling Ball" by Walkingseeds. Quite old but I think it'd fit with what you describe. It's also a really good album.
If you want something substantially eerier, then Leichenschrei by SPK. One of the best industrial electronic albums ever released and doesnt go overboard on the noisiness (for that SPK's earlier album Information Overload Unit can act as quite an effective headache generator - but probably less your thing, I suspect)

Not new but for summer sounds, you know sipping champers on the terrace then anything from the Hed Kandi label from 2000 to 2006.
